PEORIA - Pearl Fisk, 97, formerly of Peoria, died at 3:05 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2002, at Rosewood Care Center of East Peoria, where she was a resident.

Born Oct. 16, 1904, in Fulton County to Elsworth and Lillie Beaty Tippey , she married Harvey E. Fisk on May 28, 1923, in Chicago. He died Nov. 14, 1989, in Quincy.

She also was preceded in death by one grandson, three brothers and one sister.

Surviving are five daughters, Helen Newell of Pekin, Doris Clevenger of Mossville, Dorothy Busby of Macomb, and Juanita Wright and Norma Craig, both of California; one son, Allen of Lebanon, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nine stepgreatgrandchildren; two greatgreat-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Summum Christian Church in Summum.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Wilton Mortuary, where visitation will be one hour before. The Rev. Dr. Paul Isom will officiate. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association for asthma research or Rosewood Care Center of East Peoria.
