Mossville, IL - Doris J. Clevenger, 69, of Mossville, Ill., died at 9:35 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Chillicothe, IL.

Doris was born June 8, 1940, in Fulton County, Ill., the daughter of Harvey and Pearl (Tippey) Fisk.

Surviving are her children, Tammy Clevenger of Austin, Texas, Max (Robin) Clevenger of Chillicothe and Roger Clevenger of Annapolis, Ill.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are one brother, Alan Fisk of Lebanon, Ill.; and three sisters, Dorothy Busby of Macomb, Ill., Juanita Wright of Irvine, Calif., and Norma Craig of Portland, Wash.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Helen Newell of Peoria.

She worked for Caterpillar Inc. and the United States Postal Service.

She enjoyed gardening and reading her Bible.

Doris' body will be donated to the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois for medical research. Cremation rites will follow.

Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe is assisting the family.
