Albert J. Moschel, age 89, of the North Ridge Care Center, formerly Valders, died Saturday, May 21, 1994, at the care center after a short illness.
Funeral Services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 1994, at St. John’s-St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. The Rev. David Kipfmiller will officiate with entombment in the Knollwood Mausoleum.
He was born March 12, 1905, in the town of Morrison, son of the late Fredrick and Rosa Krueger Moschel.
He married Mathilda Bratz, October 8, 1927, in Reedsville.
He farmed in the town of Rockland until retiring and moving to Valders. He also worked at the Manitowoc Shipyard for many years. He was a member of St. John’s-St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Florence and Raymond Bratz, Valders, Delores and Vernon Krueger, Manitowoc; two sons and daughters-in-law, Fredrick and Tammy Moschel, Manitowoc, Myron and Nancy Moschel, Chilton; 23 grandchildren; 60 great grandchildren; two sisters, Louise Eichorst, Reedsville, Malinda Moschel, Manitowoc; a sister-in-law, Lydia Olp, Manitowoc.
He was preceded in death by his wife, December 12, 1993, also a daughter, LaVern Krueger, one infant son, two infant granddaughters, two grandsons, Dennis and Wayne, one great grandson, Clay and four sisters.
Friends may call at St. John’s-St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville on Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. until the time of service. The Wieting Funeral Home, Reedsville, is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
