ROBERT I. SCHAD

Robert I. Schad, age 95, of 231 S. Main St., Mishicot, entered into eternal rest early Sunday morning, June 8, 2008, at the Hamilton Memorial Home in Two Rivers.

Bob was born Feb. 20, 1913, in St. Nazianz to the late Edward and Minnie Anhalt Schad and has been a lifelong area resident.

He married the former Mildred Alfson on Oct. 6, 1937, at St. Gregory's Catholic Church in St. Nazianz. She preceded him in death on May 18, 1994.

Bob was employed for many years by the **** Brothers Bakery and was an antique dealer in Mishicot for many years.

He enjoyed going to flea markets and auctions. Bob also liked being in the outdoors and hunting.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was also preceded in death by one brother Elmer Schad, and by a son-in-law and granddaughter, Robert and Christine Kralovetz.

Relatives and friends may call after 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2008, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot. A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross with the Rev. Paul Paider officiating, with entombment of his cremated remains to follow in the Knollwood Mausoleum, located on Highway 310, Manitowoc. The Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home, of Mishicot, is assisting the Schad family with funeral arrangements.

Bob's family would like to extend a very special thank you to the entire staff of the Hamilton Memorial Home of Two Rivers for their love, care and support given to dad and our family during his illness. Your kindness will always be remembered.
