FLORENCE SCHULTZ
Florence C. Schultz, age 82, of 431 Madison St., Reedsville, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003, at her residence. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church in Valders with the Rev. Donald Staude officiating. Entombment will follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, Hwy. 310 in Manitowoc.
Florence was born June 9, 1921, in the town of Rockland, the daughter of the late Adolph and Frieda Rusch Haelfrisch. Florence attended schools in Reedsville and graduated from Reedsville High School in 1938.
On June 11, 1940, Florence married Royal R. Schultz in Reedsville. He preceded her in death on Sept. 23, 1989.
Florence worked for the Leverenz Shoe Factory in Valders for 12 years until her retirement in 1975. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Valders.
Survivors include her four children: Joan and Donald Kanter, Connie and Jack Schiesl, Ric Schultz and special friend, Cyndee Kuehl, Kevin and Barbara Schultz, all of Reedsville; seven grandchildren: Todd Kanter, Reedsville, Tim Kanter, Reedsville, Missy (Anthony) Schambureck, Reedsville, Mia Kanter, Whitelaw, Vicki (Jerry) Petska, Reedsville, Nicole (Jason) Hoffmann, Green Bay, Megan Schultz, Reedsville; nine great-grandchildren: Brook, Kassi, Kami, Hunter, Ashley, Cole, Conor, Jared, and Isaac; one sister: Myrtle Krueger, Manitowoc; five sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Marion Haelfrisch, Reedsville, Iva Haelfrisch, Reedsville, Anita Haelfrisch, Manitowoc, Eleanor Haelfrisch, Mishicot, Gilford and Hildegarde Schultz, Reedsville; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survived.
Besides her parents and her husband Royal, Florence was preceded in death by her two grandsons, Benjamin and Anthony Schultz; five brothers; two sisters; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21 at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Kellnersville. Relatives and friends may also call on Wednesday, Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. at the church.
