Funeral servicers will be 2 p.m. Friday at St. John and St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. The Rev. Harlyn Kuschel will officiate and burial will be in West Side Church cemetery. Military graveside rites will be accorded by the Reedsville Amvets Post No. 1032.
Mr. Haelfrisch was born June 1, 1915, in Manitowoc County, son of the late Adolph and Frieda Rusch Haelfrisch. He was employed at the Reedsville Cooperative for many years and also was engaged in farming. He married the former Anita Dallmann April 12, 1947, at Tinity Lutheran Church, Rantoul.
Mr. Haelfrisch was a member of Reedsvile (sic) Amvets Post No. 1032 and a past member of St. John and St. James Church council.
Survivors include his wife, three sons, Randy, Mark and Gilles at home; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Kathie and Paul Kiekhaefer of Route 3, Reedsville, Kris and Tom Sebo of Route 2, Reedsville, Lindy and Gary Jaeger of Cato and Nancy at home; a brother, Fritz of Route 2, Reedsville; four sisters, Mrs. Loretta Krueger of Brillion, Mrs. Wilmer (Myrtle) Krueger of Manitowoc, Mrs. Gully (Helen) Diener of Reedsville, Mrs. Royal (Florence) Schultz of Route 3, Reedsville; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Iva Haelfrisch of Reedsville, Mrs. Eleanore Haelfrisch of Two Rivers; a foster son and daughter-in-law, Fritz and Mary Ann Hoeppner of Whitelaw; seven grandchildren (private).
Mr. Haelfrisch was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Friends may call at Reedsville Funeral Home, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Friday until 11 a.m. and at the church from noon until the time of services.
