Buried At Somerset
BARKER. March 31—Funeral services for Miss Rebecca B. Leighton, 56, were held Monday at the home of her brother, G. William Leighton in Somerset. The Rev. Ernest F. Scott of Rochester, formerly pastor of Somerset Union Methodist Episcopal church, officiated and burial was in Somerset cemetery.
Miss Leighton died Saturday at the County infirmary in Lockport where she was taken last Winter after suffering a stroke. She was born in the town of Somerset and had always lived here. She was the daughter of the late George and Harriet Leighton.
Surviving are two brothers and one sister. G. William Leighton and Mrs. D. R. Fitts of Somerset, and Frank Leighton of Buffalo.

Burials from the Poorhouse were made at the Niagara County Almshouse Cemetery on Niagara Street Extension in the Town of Lockport until about 1915, at which point burials were made at the Niagara County Infirmary Cemetery on Davison Road in the City of Lockport.
