STANFORD — Kenneth Gooch, 75, of Kings Mountain, died Monday, Aug. 8, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
Born Oct. 12, 1935, in Kings Mountain, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Grace Trimble Gooch. He was a former employee of National Casket Co. in Lancaster.
Survivors include three brothers, Ralph Gooch of Kings Mountain and Paul Gooch and Johnny Gooch, both of Fairfield, Ohio; and two sisters, Lillian Marlott of North Point, Fla., and Mary Holly Thompson of Richmond, Ky. He was preceded in death by four brothers Ray, Raymond, James and Bobby Gooch; and a sister, Helen Monahan.
The funeral service will be noon Thursday at Spurlin Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. Barry Delaney. Burial will be in Pleasant Point Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Thursday.
