STANFORD — Raymond Gooch, 80, of Kings Mountain died Wednesday at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
Born July 1, 1929, in Kings Mountain, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Grace Trimble Gooch. He was a former employee of National Casket Co. in Lancaster.
Survivors include four brothers, Ralph Gooch of Waynesburg, Paul Gooch and John Gooch, both of Fairfield, Ohio, and Kenneth Gooch of Kings Mountain; two sisters, Lillian Marlett of North Port, Fla., and Mary Holly Thompson of Richmond, Ky. He was preceded in death by three brothers, his twin Ray Gooch, James and Bobby Gooch, and a sister Helen Monahan.
The funeral service will be Saturday, at Spurlin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pleasant Point Baptist Church Cemetery.
