Mrs. Sarch Lois Stevens McCall, 57, of Route 2, Smithville Community, wife of John Henry "Red" McCall, died January 23, 1988 at University Hospital in Augusta, Ga.

Born in Mills River, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Zollie Otto and Maude Baldwin Stevens. She was co-owner of Midway Grocery and a member of Mills River Presbyterian Church, Mills River, N.C.

Surviving, in addition to her husband of the home, are three sons, John O. McCall and Joseph W. McCall of Abbeville and James F. McCall of Easley; four sisters, Louise S. Hooper of Brevard, N.C., Mable S. Lemmon of Springfield, Mo.; Mary S. Ayo of Donnybrook, Va. and Edna S. Stone of Upper Marlboro, Md.; a brother, Charles F. Stevens of Asheville, N.C.; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Harris Funeral Home with the Rev. Norton Craig officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens, Greenwood.

Pallbearers will be James Mitchell, Harold Ballentine, James Sligh, Grady Hooper, Steve Hooper and Cary Bryan Hall.

Honoray escort will be Hugo Holsonback, Billy Patterson, Claude S. Wilson, Barry Boggero, Jesse Moore, Jerry W. Miller, Jeff W. Evans, James B. Evans Jr., Robert B. Ferguson, William H. Fleming and Horace Powell.

The body is at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight.
