Irene C. Riederer, 78, of Clarks Mills, Wisconsin, died Monday evening, March 19, 1990, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at S. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Rev. John Conrad will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will follow at the church cemetery.
She was born December 15, 1911, at Manitowoc, Wisconsin, daughter of the late John and Marcianna Shoemaker Jaworksi. She grew up and was educated at Manitowoc and after schooling worked for Mirro Aluminum Goods and in later years worked at Salvatorian Center. She married Edward J. Riederer on July 3, 1935, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death January 9, 1985. After their marriage the couple moved to Clarks Mills, living there since. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills and the Christian Mothers Society of the church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Jerome Vogel of 10701 USH 10, Cato, Wisconsin; a sister, Theresa Schilobrit of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; three grandchildren, Debra Vogel Arner and her husband James of Clarion, Pennsylvania, Jeff Vogel of Cato, Wisconsin and Denise Vogel of Clarks Mills, Wisconsin; two great grandsons, Jamie and Justin Arner; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Bernice Wergin, Clara Gutowski, Tillie Schilobrit and Josephine Korlesky and three brothers, Thomas, Alois and Victor Jaworski.
Friends may call at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Prayer Service will be held at 8 p.m. by Father Conrad.
