BERNICE WERGIN

Mrs. Peter Wergin, 82, died Tuesday at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at
10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Anthony Betley will
officiate and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Wergin, nee Bernice Jaworski, was born Nov. 18, 1891, at Manitowoc,
daughter of the late John and Marcianna Sheftz Jaworski. She was married to
Peter Wergin Sept. 5, 1911, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She was
a member of the Rosary Society of the church and member and past president
of the Germania Society.
Survivors include five sons, Harry, of Crivitz, Raymond, of Chicago and Francis,
Daniel and Eugene of Manitowoc; a daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Marcia) Willke, of
Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs. Louis Shilobrit, of Oshkosh, Mrs. Alex Korlesky,
of Manitowoc and Mrs. Edward Riederer, of Clarks Mills; 15 grandchildren and 30
great grandchildren. Three brothers, three sisters and a grandson preceded her
in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Fuenral Home from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, where the
Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. by ..
