HARRY WERGIN

Harry L. Wergin, 70, a former Manitowoc resident, presently residing at Crivitz, Wis., died Friday, Jan. 22, at Marinette General Hospital.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Philip Hoffmann will officiate with cremation to follow.
Mr. Wergin was born May 25, 1911, at Manitowoc, son of the late Peter and Bernice Javorski Wergin. He married Mildred Gloe Nov. 8, 1933, at Two Rivers. Mr. Wergin had been employed by Aluminum Specialty Company, retiring as a foreman, and later operated the Lake View Tavern until 1973 when he retired and moved to Crivitz.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Lorraine Wergin of Naugautuk, Conn.; a daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Ken Wicihowski of Manitowoc; a daughter-in-law, Donna Wergin Kickland of Manitowoc; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Fritz and Irene Wergin of Florida, Raymond and Marie ergin (sic) of Chicago, Daniel P. and Eileen ergin (sic) Sr. of Valders, and Eugne and Catherine ergin (sic) of Manitowoc; a sister and brother-in-law, Marcia and Gerald Wilke of Manitowoc; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Jerome.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday where a prayer service will be at 8 p.m.
