Mr. Morrison enlisted in the 21st Mo. Infantry when 16 years old, and served during the Civil War in the Union army. He saw some of the greatest battles of the war. Born near Louisville, Ky., Feb. 5, 1845.
Mr. Morrison came as a child with his parents, Benjamin and Sarah Ann Morrison, to Knox County, Missouri, where they located on a farm near Millport. There he grew to manhood and spent practically all his life in that locality. Died 1927
He was never married and lived alone until he went to his sister's.
