Mrs. C. E. Morris, 79, of 1334 W. Austin St., died Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Hospital after being ill some time.
The former Laura Ester Randell, daughter of T. L. and Alice (Gardner) Randell. Mrs. Morris was born April 19,1892, at Gadsden and was married there in 1910.
Her husband survives, besides nine children: Jimmy and Lonnie Morris. Mrs. J. G. Derrick and Miss Billie Morris all of Paris. Sammy Morris, of Bonham, Claude Olen Morris and Mrs. Marvin Dunn Jr. of Dallas. Mrs D.E. Brooks of Honey Grove and Mrs. C. C. Lancaster of Fort Worth.
Also 29 other descendants: a brother and three sisters. Woodrow Randell , Mrs Bud Sanders, Mrs. Jim Jones and Mrs. Luther Preston all of Paris.
Leverett & Steele Funeral Home has charge of services, which will be held Monday at 4 p.m. in the Leverett & Steele Chapel. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Leverett & Steele Funeral Home.
