Delores C. Iles, age 91, Logansport, passed away at 9:51 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2013, in Chase Center.

Born December 12, 1921, in Jackson County, Ind., she was the daughter of Crowel and Georgia Rohrbaugh Coble.

She was married to Robert Iles, who preceded her in death.

Delores was a member of River of Life Christian Church. She was a retired psychiatric attendant at the Logansport State Hospital. In the 1970s Delores received special and deserved recognition by the Governor and the State of Indiana for exceptional service as an attendant for patients with special needs.

Surviving are sons, Kenneth (Beverly) Iles, and James (Lana) Iles, all of Logansport; brother Ralph Coble, Monticello; grandchildren, Stacey Platt, Krista Slusser, Heidi Richey, Bob Iles, Beth Kite, John Iles, Brian Iles and Lisa Doolittle; nine great grandchildren, Wade Richey, Alexis Miller, Kelley Platt, Tucker Platt, Isabel Iles, Chloe Iles, Sophia Kite, Shane Doolittle, Elijah Doolittle, Nathan Doolittle and Hayden Doolittle; daughter-in-law, Marsha Iles, several nieces and nephews.

Delores was preceded in death by two sons, Roger Iles and David Iles, and a brother, Robert Coble.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at Kroeger Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be at 12 noon on Tuesday at the funeral home, with Rev. Keith Kincaid of River of Life Christian Church officiating.

Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
