Born March 18, 1918, in Logansport to Charles and Josephine Moore Iles. he was married to Delores Coble on Sept. 1, 1940.
A retired Conrail yard conductor, he was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife and mother; four sons; a brother; and a sister, Eleanor Campbell, Flora; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Fred Schroeder and Rev. Richard Weisenberger officiating. Burial was held in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
