Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Forrest Cemetery for Helen J. Lankford, 85, Gadsden, who died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000. The Rev. David Cofield will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral Home is in charge.
Miss Lankford was a native and lifelong resident of Gadsden and was a member of the Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Coleman and Carrie Lankford; sisters, Mary T. Griffin, Irma Stovall and Evelyn Holloway; brothers, Coleman Lankford and Earl Lankford.
Survivors include a sister, Fairy Mae Lankford, Gadsden; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from Noon until 1:30 p.m.
