Fannie was the daughter of Powel Omby Roberts and his second wife, Lourena (Agee) Roberts. I suspect that Lourena is also buried in Robertson cemetery, but I have no proof at this time.
According to Ruth Middleton (Powel Omby Robert's granddaughter), Fannie died during a diphtheria epidemic. The epidemic was striking the children of their area & Fannie was the last child to die. Powel tried to save his children by treating them w/ tincture of iodine.
