With deep grief, we announce to all our relatives, friends and neighbors that our mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother, Anna Vrbsky, departed this life on September 19, 1916 and was laid to rest on Sept. 21, 1916 at the Czechoslovanky Cemetery by Wilber.

Our dear one was born in Hyskove County, Beroun February 28, 1835 and lived in Saline County, Nebraska since 1879.
The funeral services were held at the Catholic Church in Wilber.

The survivors wish to express thanks to the family of Vaclav Salesky for all their help in her illness and at the time of her death and to all those who sent flowers and attended the funeral, thanks also to Huletz and Co. for their preparations.

Thanks to those for all the love and friendship shown to us. Katerina Jonas, Marie Skliba, Alzbeta Prachar, Anna Formanek, daughters. Josef Fromanek, son-in-law. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Obituary and Nebraska Death Certificate #9145 both list Sep 19, 1916 as day of death but cemetery stone lists Sep 15, 1916.

Mrs. Anna Vrbsky died at her home in Wilber, Tuesday evening, September 19, 1916, aged 81 years, 7 months, 21 days, having been in feeble health for the past years, owing to her advances age. Deceased was born February 28, 1835, in Bohemia where she was married and where most of her children were born. With her husband and children she came direct to Saline county from Bohemia in 1879, locating on a farm 5 miles northeast of Wilber, where they lived until they moved to Wilber 20 years ago. She is survived by 5 daughters, Mrs. Katerina Jonas of Havlock, Mrs. Mary Skliba, Mrs. Elizabeth Prachar and Mrs. Anna Formanek, all of Saline County and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The funeral was held from the Catholic church on Thursday at 10 o'clock a.m. The remains were laid to rest in the National Bohemian cemetery by the side of her husband, who died about 4 years ago.
