Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Hayes Whitaker, 56, who died at the Lincoln County Hospital here Saturday afternoon, after an extended illness, were conducted at 11 o'clock Monday morning at the Raby Funeral Home. The Rev. U. W. Malcolm, Rev. E. G. Godwin, and Elder R. A. Largen officiated and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Daughter of the late Robert G. and Adelia Templeton Hayes, Mrs. Whitaker was born and reared in the Coldwater community. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, J. C. Whitaker; one daughter, Mrs. Carol Raby of Fayetteville; two sons, Bobby and Dan Whitaker; three sisters, Mrs. Alex Carter of Blanche, Miss Jessie Lee Hayes of Taft, and Mrs. John A. Pool of Fayetteville; and two grandchildren.
