Mildred A. Causey
Mildred A. Causey, 79, of Homer, died July 2, 1987 at Homer Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. July 4 at the Rose-Neath Chapel in Homer with Rev. Walter Easton and Rev. Art Achord officiating.
Mrs. Causey was a retired teacher and librarian, member of the East Baton Rouge School Board and of the First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors are her husband, Nolan S. Causey of Homer; one son, Bryce Causey of Haughton; a daugher-in-law, Peggy Causey of Haughton; two sisters, Grace Wales of Sulphur and Leola Volentine of Walker; three brothers, B.B. Achord Jr. of Baton Rouge, Walter H. Achord of Zachary, and Rev. Arthur Achord of Houma; and two grandsons, David Causey of Haughton and Danny Causey of Monroe; and two great-grandchildren, Kristen and Rachel causey of Haughton.
Memorials may be sent to the Haiti Fund of the Presbyterian Church in care of Frances Landers, 1801 W. Block St., El Dorado, Ark. 71730.
