Henry Calvin (Barney) Pitcock, 86, of 313 Fourth avenue, Waynesburg, died at 3:30 p.m. Monday, June 3, 1963, in his home. He had not been in the best of health for some time, but death came unexpectedly.

Mr. Pitcock was born November 18, 18876, in Whiteley Township, a son of John B. and Sidney Rush Pitcock.

Most of his life was spent in the Jefferson area where he was a member of the Jefferson Presbyterian Church. He resided in Waynesburg for ten years. He was a retired carpenter.

Surviving are his wife, Ida Mae Crane Pitcock; three daughters, Stella, wife of James P. Rice, of Waynesburg, Pauline, wife of Ralph Armstrong, of Wellsburg, W. Va., and Arabelle, wife of George Berryhill, of Waynesburg; one son, Thomas L. Pitcock, of Wellsburg, W. Va.; ten grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two brothers, John B., of Waynesburg, and Jesse L., of Waynesburg, R. D.

Three sisters and four brothers are deceased.
