Mrs. Ida May Crayne Pitcock, 97, of 189 West High Street, Waynesburg, died at 3:10 a. m. Monday, October 25, 1976, in Greene County Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

She was born October 4, 1879 in Jefferson Township near Jefferson, a daughter of Jacob H. and Rebecca Arabelle Bosworth Crayne. Her husband, Calvin Pitcock, died June 3, 1963.

Mrs. Pitcock has lived for several year (sic) in Jefferson and for the past 10 years had made her home with a daughter at Waynesburg.

Mrs. Pitcock was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Jefferson.

Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Stella Rice, Waynesburg; and Mrs. Ralph L. (Pauline) Armstrong, Wellsburg, W. Va.; one son: Thomas Luther Pitcock, Wellsburg, W. Va.; 10 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren; and one sister: Mrs. Jessie L. Pollock, Waynesburg.

One daughter, Arabelle Pitcock Berryhill, and two brothers, William and David Pitcock (sic) are deceased.

PITCOCK - Friends of Mrs. Ida May Crayne Pitcock, of 189 West High Street, Waynesburg, who died Monday, October 25, 1976, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Mariner and Milliken Funeral Home, Waynesburg, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 27, in charge of the Rev. David Barrett. Burial in Greene County Memorial Park.
