Ex-Madison Woman Dies At Seymour
Mrs. Martha Carl Winn, 76, wife of Dr. Samuel Winn, of Seymour, died at 2:10 a.m. today at the home of her son, Donald, in that city. She suffered a stroke of paralysis.
The deceased was a native of Iowa, but lived in Madison many years. She and Dr. Winn moved to Seymour about five years ago.
Mrs. Winn was affiliated with Trinity Methodist church and was also a member of the Madison chapter, Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving besides her husband, and son, who is a member of the state police force, are three grandchildren and a great grandchild. Another son, J. W. Winn, preceded her in death a number of years ago.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Vail Memorial funeral home. The Rev. Frank Templin will be in charge. Burial will be in Springdale cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
