The former pastor of Victory Baptist Church, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kossie Wright of Kings Mountain.
Raymond was a veteran of World War II.
He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church where funeral services were conducted.
Burial was in Mountain Rest Cemetery.
