Doris Elaine "Hun" Olinger, 74, of Littlestown, Pa., died Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Gettysburg Hospital, following a brief illness. Born July 25, 1938, in Legore, she was the daughter of the late Keefer and Margie Redmond Eyler. She was the wife of Charles E. Olinger Sr., who died in 2006. She was formerly employed with Cambridge Rubber Company in Taneytown, Trout's Market in Woodsboro, and Food Lion in Taneytown. She was a member of Oak Hill Church of God in Legore. She enjoyed cooking, watching the Washington Nationals on television, and her dogs, Chloe and Nikki. Surviving are a daughter, Deanna L. Bennett, of Littlestown; a granddaughter, Katlin Elaine Bennett, of Littlestown; sisters Ruby Ambrose, of Keymar, Eloise Troxell, of Walkersville, and Teresa White, of Emmitsburg; brothers Robert and Terry Eyler, both of Woodsboro, and Jerry Eyler, of Adamstown; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Charles "Chuck" Olinger Jr., who died in 2004; a granddaughter, Amanda Olinger, who died in 1982; two sisters; and two brothers. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hartzler Funeral Home, 404 S. Main St., Woodsboro. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Horner officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
