Daughter of Barbara E. Rhodes and Morris Weaver. Morris was married to another woman at the time of Jennie's birth, but after the death of his first wife, he married Jennie's mother.

Jennie was an invalid for most of her life and never married.

Sister of Margaret Suckling, Rose White, Clara Shaffer, Flora Hamilton, William, George and Raymond Weaver. Half sister of Mary Marks, Barbara Downey, Ellen Ellis, Joseph and Morris John Weaver.

Date of death taken from death certificate - date on tombstone is incorrect. She is buried just in front of her parents.


Altoona Mirror, 30 November 1915:

"Miss Jennie Weaver, daughter of Mrs. Barbara Weaver, of Basin street, Gaysport, died suddenly at her home at 7:40 this morning of a complication of diseases. She had been in failing health for some time. She was aged 52 years and was survived by her mother and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Mary Marks, Mrs. Walter Suckling, Mrs. Robert White, Mrs. Harry Hamilton, William and George, all of Hollidaysburg; Mrs. John Gowney (sic) of Punxsutawney, Morris of Sonman, and Mrs. Ellen Ellis of Funkley, Miss. (sic). Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 at the home of Mrs. Robert White. Interment in the Presbyterian (sic) cemetery."
