Albert Irion was born October 18, 1915, on the family homestead on Cabin Creek. Albert Irion was the son of Samuel and Christina Irion.

He attended local schools and worked at home until 1937, when he began work for the government ASC office, surveying cropland the area.

He was married, December 23, 1938 to Vi Malicote at Baker.

For 25 years, from 1940 to 1965, he was a bulk gas and oil distributor at Fallon. Then, for nearly 11 years, until retiring, he was employed as a salesman at Turnbull Chevrolet, in Terry. He was also an auctioneer, frequently contributing his services for school and youth activities, of which he was always an active booster. Mr Irion, 61, passed away after suffering a heart attack at his home on March 11, 1977.

Survivors include the widow; his mother, Christina Irion of Terry; two sons and their wives, Dennis and Phyllis Irion of San Antonio TX, and Steven and Susanna Irion of Bozeman; a grandson, and three brothers - Morris of Billings, Clarence A “Andy” of Terry, and Ted of Fallon.
