Mrs. George Luber, a resident of Brillion for many years passed away at the Municipal hospital at Waukesha, Monday evening. She had been a patient there since Dec. 26, and death was due to yellow jaundice. The remains were brought to Brillion Tuesday and the body lay in state at the Louis Luber farm residence until Friday afternoon when funeral services will be held at the above home and at the local Friedens Evangelical church, Rev. E. J. Fleer, Milwaukee and Rev. K. Kielhorn officiating. The following will act as pall bearers, F. Haese, Martin Jooss, Dr., H. L. Bastian, Wm. Hintz, Henry Eichhorst and Wm. Ross.

Interment will be in the Brillion village cemetery.
Mrs. Luber, nee Anna Koch, was 79 years of age and was born in Mecklenburg, Germany, May 1, 1856. She came to America with her parents at the age of fourteen, the family settling at Waukesha. On Feb. 22, 1875 she was united in marriage to George Luber at Waukesha, the couple coming to Brillion where they took up residence on a farm, the homestead which is now occupied by the son, Louis Luber. In 1919 the couple retired from farm life and moved to this city. Mr. Luber preceded his wife in death in 1929.

She is survived by one son, Louis of Brillion, and two daughters, Mrs. Paul Humbolt, Waukesha and Mrs. Herman Mull, Maribel.

The past few years, Mrs. Luber had been resided with her children and left for Waukesha last October. She was a devout member of the local Friedens Evangelical congregation and of the Ladies’ Aid society.
