Frances Dejmal was born at Borov, Czechoslovakia on February 17, 1870, and died February 13, 1941 at her home in Narka at the age of 70 years, 11 months and 26 days.
She was united in marriage to James Dejmal in 1893. They came to the United States in 1897 to Humboldt, Neb. Later they moved near Munden and then to Haddam where they lived until her husband's death December 5, 1939. She then moved to Narka where she lived until she died.
She leaves to mourn her death three daughter and six sons; Mrs. Emma Carlson and Mrs. Albina Brown of Minneapolis, Minn, and Mary Zeek of Hubbell; Jerry of Munden, Augustav of Mahaska, Amos of Hubbell, Joe of Narka, Jim of Bremerton, Wash., and Francis of Washington, D.C.; and ten grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was a member of ZCBJ Lodge Novy Tabor No. 19 at Munden.
Funeral services were held Feb. 17, at her home in Narka with Stanley Zakostelsky officiating. Burial was made in Tabor cemetery near Munden.
