Jim Dejmal, son of Vaclav James and Frantiska Dejmal was born in Republic County on June 29, 1904 and died September 27, at Bremerton, Washington, at the age of 74 years, 2 months and 28 days.

He grew up in Washington County and moved to Bremerton, Washington in 1939. He worked with explosives on several construction projects, including Ross Dam in Skagit County, and retired as an examiner for the state auditor's office.

He was united in marriage to Lois A. Nelson in Seattle, Washington, on September 4, 1948.

He was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Bremerton Eagles and the Retired Eagles Activity Club of which he was a Charter Member.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Lois of Bremerton, three brothers, Jerry of Narka, Gus of Belleville, and Amos of Ontario, Oregon; three sisters, Mrs. C. R. (Albena) Brown and Mrs. Pat (Faye) Brown both of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Mrs. Mary Zeek of Hebron.

Rosary service was held Friday, September 29, at 7:30 p.m. at the Miller Woodlawn Funeral Home of Bremerton.
Funeral services were held at St. George Catholic Church Munden, Monday, October 2, at 10:00 a.m. conducted by Father John Vandenberghe. Interment was made in Tabor cemetery.
