Mrs. Eva D. Anno
Carbondale -- Mrs. Eva D. Anno, 81, Carbondale, died early Sunday, March 25, at her home here.
She was born Dec. 7, 1902, near Valley Falls, the daughter of Samuel and Anna Fisbel Eshom. She came to Topeka in 1915, moved to Wakarusa in 1937, and finally moved to Carbondale in 1979.
She was married to Nathan Anno Dec. 31, 1919, at Topeka. He died Oct. 17, 1983.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lola M. Meinert, Citrus Heights, Calif., and Mrs. Lila M. Shepard, Carbondale; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Tibbits-Griffin-Highland Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka. Mrs. Anno will lie in state after 6 p.m. today at the chapel, where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
