MARTHA VANDERFIN
(1883 - 1943)

Mrs. William Vanderfin, 59, of 1524 Columbus street, died Thursday evening at the Holy Family hospital. She had been ill for the past 20 days.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning, at 8:30 o'clock from the Pfeffer funeral home and at 9 o'clock from St. Andrew's Catholic church with the Rev. Henry Letz officiating. Interment will be in Calvary cemetery.

Mrs. Vanderfin, nee Martha Holschbach, was born Oct. 27, 1883 in the town of Kossuth. She was married on Jan. 8, 1913 and 23 years ago the couple came here to live.

Survivors are the widower; aged mother, Mrs. Catherine Holschbach who makes her home at the Holy Family Hospital; six brothers, Edmund, city, Ernest route 2, Paul of this city, Alois, route 3, Peter and Robert of route 5; four sisters, Mrs. Michael Mohr, route 5, Mrs. Anna Hartman, route 3, Mrs. Herbert Heinzen, route 4, and Sister M. Harriet at the Holy Family convent.

The body will lie in state at the funeral home from 7 p.m. Saturday and the rosary will be recited there at 8:15 p.m. on Sunday.
