Funeral services will be at 1030 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Martin Fox will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Holschbach was born Jan. 4, 1891, in the Town of Kossuth, son of the late Alois and Catherine Wiesner Holschbach. He married Clara Dirkman Feb. 23, 1914, and the couple established its residence at Manitowoc where he owned and operated a farm and the City View Dairy on the southside until his retirement 10 years ago. His wife died May 5, 1953, and on Jan. 2, 1961, he married Mrs. Nettie Vetter. Mr. Holschbach was a lifelong member of St. Boniface Church, charter member of the Senior Citizens and belonged to the Holy Name Society.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Harvey of Two Rivers, Paul J., Donald, Vernon and Marvin, all of Manitowoc; three daughters, Mrs. Donald (Bernice) Barta and Mrs. Arnold (Grace) Brandl of Manitowoc and Mrs. Leonard (Eunice) Mella of Rt. 3, Manitowoc; three brothers, Edmund, Peter and Robert of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Theresa Mohr and Mrs. Herbert Heinzen of Manitowoc; 46 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A son, three brothers and five sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call a the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where at 8 p.m. the Rosary will be recited by the HNS, members of the Catholic Women’s Club, Knights of Columbus Council 710 of Manitowoc and Mother of Hope Council 1957 of Two Rivers.
