Charles J. Vesely, 52, of route 4, Manitowoc, died suddenly this morning at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Pfeffer funeral home and at 9 a.m. at the St. Paul Catholic church, the Rev. Martin Jaekels officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.

Mr. Vesely was born August 10, 1895, and married Corrine Baugniet in 1934. He was a veteran of World War I, having served in the 77th regiment, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars who will accord him a military funeral.

Survivors are the wife; daughter, Geneva, 13; two sons, Charles Jr., 11, and John, 6; four brothers, Frank of route 1, Reedsville, Joseph and Adolph of Manitowoc and Edward of route 2, Reedsville; four sisters, Mrs. James Polzak and Mrs. Matt Klein of Manitowoc, Mrs. Joseph Staddler of route 5, Manitowoc, and Mrs. Ray Wallander of Valders.

The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Tuesday and the Holy Name society will recite the rosary at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
