Mrs. Ann C. Klein, 83, formerly of 1825 Belmont Street, Manitowoc, died Friday
morning, September 12, 1986 at the Manitowoc Health Care Center. Funeral
services will be 10 am Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10:30 am at Holy
Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated by Rev. Jeffrey Vanden Heuvel and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mrs. Klein was born January 15, 1903 at Reedsville, daughter of the late Frank
and Mary Vondrachek Vesely. She married Matthew W. Klein on June 27, 1929 at St.
Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville. He preceded her in death on February 18, 1966.
Mrs. Klein was a past member of Christian Women of Holy Innocents Catholic
Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Jeanne Klein of Manitowoc;
a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Arnold Kapitz of Manitowoc; two sisters,
Mrs. Emma Stadler of Manitowoc and Mrs. Ray (Clara) Wallander of Manitowoc; seven
grandchildren, six great grandchildren,nieces and nephews. She was preceded in
death by six brothers, Rev. Lawrence, Frank, Charles, Joseph, Adolph and Edward
Vesely and a sister, Mary Polzak.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 pm to 8 pm Sunday where
a prayer service will be at 7 pm.
