Mildred Pauline Snider, 80, of Plano passed away on June 11, 2005 at Hillside Health Care, Yorkville. She was born on February 5, 1926 in Crawford County, IL.
She married Ralph Snider November 1946 and they spent 57 years together. After the war, they moved to Plano from Flat Rock, IL. There they raised their two sons, Scott and Carl.
She is survived by her two sons, Scott (Ann) Snider and Carl (Maire) Snider both of Plano; sisters, Norma Butch, Wanda Redmon, Patty Midgett and Donna Keeler all of Flat Rock, IL and Shirley Walker of Palestine,IL; her brother, Burl Wesley of Flat Rock, IL; her precious grandchildren, Paula Snider, Jason Snider of Plano, Justin (Nicole) of Sandwich, Shannon Snider, Eric Snider and Aron Snider all of Plano.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Florence Wesley; her husband, Ralph on March 18, 2004; a brother; and a sister.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at 10:30 AM at the Beverage Family Funeral Home, Sandwich with the Rev. Scott Secrest officiating. Her paternal great-great-grandmother was sister of my 3 greats grandfather; maternal great-great-grandmother was the sister of my great-great-grand-mother; and husband's maternal great-great-grandfather was the brother of both her great-great-grandmother and my great-great-grandmother (I'm also related through his paternal grandmother's line).
