Burl D. Wesley, 77, of rural Flat Rock, IL died Nov. 18, 2011 at his residence. He was born Sept. 24, 1934 in Honey Creek township, the son of Chalres Burl and Florence Dunlap Wesley.
He was a sprayer at Briggs for 35 years retiring in 1996. He was a member of the South Union church.
He married Norma "Sis" Butcher Sept. 14, 1959 and she survives. He is also survived by his daughter Greta Tracy; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters, Norma Butcher, Patty Midgett, Shirley Walker, Wanda Redman, and Donna Keeler; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Billy Joe Wesley, sisters Barbara Wesley, and Pauline Snider.
Funeral services were held at the South Union Church with burial in Tohill Cemetery, rural Flat Rock.
