Dies At Age 74
MONTICELLO — James Thomas
Duffey, 74, of Burnettsville,
died at his home at 9:30 a.m.
Saturday. He had been ill 12
years.
Born May 2, 1889, in Burnettsville,
he was the son of John
C. and Martha Chilcott Duffey.
A graduate of Purdue University
in engineering, he was
a member of Tipton Masonic
Lodge and the Shrine Club at
Logansport.
Survivors are two sisters,
Miss Ruth Duffey and Mrs. Nell
Bresnahan of Burnettsville;
three brothers, Fred A. Duffey
of Logansport, William of Indianapolis
and George, of Burnetts-
ville.
Friends may call at Miller.
Funeral Home after 2 p.m. today.
Final rites at the funeral
home will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday
with the Kev. Virden Graham
officiating. Burial will be
in Davis Cemetery at Burnettsville.
