Duffey, died at 7:3O p.m. Tuesday
at her home In Burnettsville
where she had lived for the past
64 years.
She was the widow of John C.
Duffey, president of the Burnettsvllle
Stale bank for several years.
Born in Cass county on May
20, 1863, she was the daughter of
Amos and Mary Jane (Banta)
Chillcott, She was married to John
C. Duffey in 1883. The deceased
was a member of the Burnettsville
Christian church.
Survivors Include two daughters,
Mrs. Nellie Beshahan, Miami,
Fla,; and Miss Ruth Duffey, Phoenix,
Ariz.; four sons, George, president
of the Burnettsvlle bank;
James, also of Burnettsvllle; Fred,
Logansport; and William, Indianapolis;
11 grandchildren, 17 great
grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs.
Minnie Gibson, Logansport. A son,
Carson, preceded In death.
Final rites will be conducted at
2 p.m. Friday at the Miller funeral
home with the Rev. Virden Graham
and the Rev. H. K. Bulger officiating.
Burial will be made In the
Davis cemetery. Friends may call
at the chapel after 7 p.m. Wednesday.
