Civil War Co K 99th Ind Vol
Amos Chilcott, a veteran of the civil war. Died at his home in Burnettsville, Ind. aged eighty-seven years. He was a member of Company K. 99th Indiana Volunteer Infantry. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock from the residence in Burnettsville. Interment in the Burnettsville cemetery.
Amos Cnilcott died at his home Saturday morning. aged eighty-seven years. Deceased was a veteran of the Civil war, having been a member of Company K or the Ninety-Ninth Indiana Volunteer Infantry. He was married to Miss Mary Banta, and to this union were born several children Those living are: Mrs. John Hanna. Mrs. U .A. Cochran. Mrs. J. C. Duffy and Charles Chilcott of this place Mrs. Ella Cochran of Monticello Mrs. John Cochran of Midfield, Ore., and Mrs. Schuyler Gibson of Pisgah Cass county. Thirty grandchildren nineteen great-grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren also survive.
The funeral was conducted by Kev. Heeler from the some Sunday and interment was made in Burnettsville Cemetery.
