Mrs. Josephine C. Korlesky, 77, of 1233 S. 22nd Street, Manitowoc, died Wednesday, January 7, 1987, at the Swedish-American Hospital, Rockford, Illinois.
Funeral services will be 9:30 am Monday at Harrigan-Parkside Funeral Home and 10 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Harold Berryman and burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Korlesky was born October 21, 1909, at Manitowoc, Wisconsin, daughter of the late John and Marcianna Jaworski. She was a longtime employee of Normington Cleaners of Manitowoc. She married Alex R. Korlesky on June 25, 1929 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death in 1975. Mrs. Korlesky was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the church's Altar and Rosary Society.
Survivors include two sisters, Theresa Shilobrit of Oshkosh and Irene Riederer of Clarks Mills; five grandchildren, Louise Hensel of Oshkosh, Amy Vicioso of Denver, Colorado, David Korlesky of Thorton, Colorado, and Michael and Mark Korlesky, both of Rockford, Illinois; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Korlesky, three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Harrigan-Parkside Funeral Home, 4 pm to 9 pm Sunday where a prayer service will be at 7:30 pm.
