Tony M. Richmond, 86, of Milton, Ky., died Tuesday, July 24, 2001, at King's Daughters' Hospital.

He was born March 11, 1915, in Trimble County, Ky., the son of Henry and Retta Boldery Richmond. He was a retired employee of Tower Manufacturing Co., and a member of the Norfolk Holiness Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Rosa Bowling and Sue Smitha, both of Madison, and Mary Watterson of Hanover; three sons, David Richmond of Bedford, Ky., Daniel Richmond of Milton and Robert Richmond of Carrollton, Ky.; five sisters, Blanche Boldery, Cathryn Satchwell, Dorothy Purvis, Opal Handlon and Virginia Burkhardt, all of Milton; one brother, James Richmond of Milton; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Louise Richmond, in 1995; three sisters, Thelma Raisor, Ruby Adams and Silvia Handlon; one brother, R.V. Richmond; one son and one daughter.

Services will be at 2 p.m. EDT Thursday at the Wood-Oakley Funeral Home in Milton, with burial in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. EDT today; and after 9 a.m. EDT Thursday, at the funeral home.
