Mrs. Edna M. Bernhard, 57, of 123 S. 6th St., Stiles, wife of Ernest P. Bernhard, died yesterday in Allentown Hospital. Born in North Whitehall Township, she was a daughter of the late Tilden and Maggie (Hahn) DeLong. She lived most of her life in Egypt and the last three years in Stiles. She was a member of the UCC congregation of Egypt Union Church. Surviving with her husband are three daughters, June, wife of Richard Herman of Lynnwood, Claire at home, Mary Jane, wife of Luther Hittner of Slatington R. 1; four sisters, Mrs. Annie German of Lake Carey, Lillian, wife of Clarence E. Stoudt of Jim Thorpe Star Route, Erma, wife of Robert Gehman of Coopersburg, and Ella, wife of Martin Wieand of Coplay; four brothers, Harry of Freemansburg, Allen and Daniel, both of Catasauqua, and Roy of Egypt, and seven grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton.
