Roy T. DeLong, 76, of 4233 Main St., Egypt, died Wednesday in Allentown Hospital. He was the husband of Edna M. (Stofflet) DeLong. They observed their 57th wedding anniversary last November.
He was a truck driver for the Schwerman Trucking Co., Nazareth, for 16 years until retiring in 1978.
Born in North Whitehall Township, he was a son of the late Tilden R. and Maggie E. (Hahn) DeLong.
Survivors: Wife; sons, LeRoy P. of Allentown, George E. at home, Mahlon T. of Butztown and Arthur R. Walthourville, Ga.; daughters, Joyce G., wife of Raymond F. Bachman of Walnutport, Edith M., wife of Kenneth R. Wedde of Bath, and Mildred S., wife of Phil D. Vitovitch of Coplay; brother Daniel of Catasauqua; sisters, Mrs. Annie German in Texas and Mrs. Lillian Stoudt of Allentown, 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
