Torfin T. Lindberg, 60, a lifetime resident of the Kensington area passed away at the Douglas County Hospital on Saturday, July 11, 1976.

Torfin was born in Holmes City Township, on February 23, 1916 the son of John and Ragnald (Olesdater) Lindberg. He attended school in the Holmes City School district and worked at various farms in the Holmes City and Kensington area.

Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Ragne) Skramstad of Alexandria; Mrs. Martin (Olga) Johnson of Kensington, three brothers, Reynold of Breckenridge, Mn., Peter of Kensington and Elvin of Elbow Lake, Mn.

Funeral services were Wednesday, July 14, 1976, 2:00 p.m., at the Oscar Lake Lutheran Church with Rev. Carl E. Anderson officiating. Pallbearers were Maynard Nessman, Anker Jacobson, Delmore Johnson, Floyd Johnson, Herbert Hausmann and Gordon Skramstad. Interment was at Oscar Lake Lutheran Cemetery, Holmes City Township. Services directed by the Alexandria Funeral Home.
