Ragna Skramstad was born in Trysil, Norway, September 21, 1903, the daughter of John and Ragnhild (Aason) Lindberg. She came to the United States in 1904 with her family and settled in the Lowry area. She was baptized and confirmed at the Oscar Lake Lutheran Church. On August 16, 1921, Ragna was united in marriage to Arthur Skramstad in Alexandria. The couple lived in the Kensington area and in 1950 moved to Alexandria. Ragna enjoyed sewing as a hobby. She died May 15, 1989, at the Bethany Home at the age of 85 years.
Ragna is survived by son: Gordon Skramstad of Alexandria; Grant Skramstad of Alexandria; daughters: Ruby Olson of Morris, Betty Keller of Alexandria; brother: Reynold Lindberg of Breckenridge. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Roger Skramstad, Rodney Skramstad, Todd Skramstad, Bradley Skramstad, Jerry Keller, Kyle Keller and Larry Olson. Arrangements were with Anderson Funeral Home.
