Leona Skidmore of 108 Washington Avenue, Greenport, passed away at the Eastern Long Island Hospital Greenport on April 10th, 1959. She was born in East Marion February 8th, 1890, daughter of Atwood and Mary Mack Brown. She is survived by her husband Samuel W Skidmore of Greenport; one son Samuel Jr; two daughters, Viola Malinauskas and Josephine Conrad; two sisters, Eva Haldane and Anita Alexander; two brothers, Halsey Brown and Wayland Brown; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the DeFriest Funeral Home, Southold April 12th at 2:30 pm, Rev John Agria, of the East Marion Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was in the East Marion Cemetery.
