Doris was born in Ponderosa, New Mexico to Clemente and Elizaida Rivera. She was the oldest of thirteen children.

Doris married Vic Wright at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oakdale.

Survivors include her husband, Vic Wright of Turlock; daughters, Petrilla Wright and Tom Babcock, Linda and Ken Parkins, Joan Wright; son, James and Paulette Wright; grandchildren, Danielle Haggard (Willie), Lindsey Parkins, Eric Parkins (Jael); great grandchildren, Bailey, Shawn, Rayven, Shayla, Isabelle Parkins and Anthony Payne; and many beloved nieces and nephews; siblings, Mike Rivera, Roland Rivera, Carlo Rivera, Gloriana Schad, Phil Rivera, Marie Rivera and Marlin Seadorf.

Preceded in death by siblings, Tony Rivera, Romeo Rivera, Josephine Leal, Lori Rivera, Frances Lett and Clem Rivera, Jr.

Services are as follows, Visitation, Thursday, December 12 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Oakdale Memorial Chapel. Rosary will be said at 6:00 at the chapel.

Funeral mass to be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 89 North Oak Avenue, Oakdale, on December 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.

Internment at Oakdale Citizens Cemetery following mass.
